ROMANCE, LOVE, AND HAPPY EVER AFTER

How many times have you been in love?  Or thought you were?

-Who were they and what happened?

What can a person do to “romance” or “woo” you to make you feel adored and cherished?

Is there such a thing as ‘forever love’ or ‘happily ever after’?

These questions are good to ponder in our private moments and for discussion at girls’ nights and book clubs and whenever people need a good topic to talk about.

They are also explored in my contemporary romance books-- Leap of Faith (May, 2022) and Valentine’s Love  (September 10, 2022). Both are stories of Black men loving Black women and Black women loving Black men with a little imagination, some heartbreak, moments of fun, and passionate, sensual sex.  Just like real life if you’re lucky!

Yes I know, you love who you love and they might not be Black.  Okay. Do you.  This is not a competition or an attempt to start a war.

I happen to enjoy the dynamics of romantic relationships between a Black woman and a Black man.  There’s something sexy and sassy and grounded about Black love that’s currently being captured quite well in the TV show BLACK LOVE that airs on the OWN network, and in thousands of romance books.  It’s why I often ask couples to tell me how they met and watch them both glow and grin at each other as they tell the story. People react like that whether newlyweds or celebrating 40+ years of marriage.

This blog will be used to share updates on my books, tell you about my favorite romance authors, provide fun and sexy quotes, and overall be an uplifting space for people who love love. There will be something new every month so come back again and again!
